Gary Faessen
General Manager

Gary has rejoined Everest Kool Solutionz in the role of General Manager for New Zealand.  Gary previously worked with Everest for a number of years as Operations Manager.  Gary has 10 years of experience in the frozen and refrigerated food industry.  Gary also worked in cool store logistics for the export apple industry.

Prior to these roles, Gary had a diverse background including developing a small business in the manufacturing industry and managing and eventually owning the family growing business.

Nathan Clark
Financial Controller

Nathan is Hawkes Bay born and bred and has worked in the accountancy field locally for a variety of firms for 30 years (10 years in chartered accountancy firm and 20 years in the corporate environment).

Nathan holds a CA qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, following studies through Hawkes Bay Community College and Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.

Experience in the fields of financial reporting, taxation, financial/cash management, audit, budgeting has been gained from working within a CA firm initially and a variety of locally based Hawkes Bay companies involved in the agricultural, afforestation and services industries.

Robert Lockie
Global Operations Manager

Mr. Lockie has 25 years’ experience in the frozen and refrigerated industry and the transportation sector as it relates to information technological developments. Mr. Lockie was instrumental in the implementation of several greenfield start ups over his career. Prior to his involvement in the PRW and transportation industry, Mr. Lockie has 15 years’ experience in the management and implementation of I.T. systems in the service sector. Robb works from the Toronto Head Office.

Andrea Hemopo
Warehouse Supervisor

Andrea brings to the Everest team over 20 years in the warehousing and distribution industry.  Andrea is managing the Everest team to ensure all of our customers experience the highest level of service standards.

Hemi Williams
Warehouse Foreman

Hemi is local to Hawkes Bay and has been with Everest since its opening in 2013. Hemi originally started as a storeman with Everest. Hemi has held several roles in Hawkes Bay prior to joining Everest over a 20-year career and brings particular expertise to the business in the areas of warehousing and logistics.

Michael Hayfield
Customer Service Representative

Michael Hayfield joined Everest in September 2019 as a Customer Service Representative primarily responsible for processing inbound and outbound customer order shipments and dealing with day-to-day customer queries. Michael came from Pak n Save where he worked in Administration.

Michael has a degree in Business Studies gained at EIT Napier.

Prashan Liyanage
Customer Service Representative

Prashan joined Everest Hastings in January 2020 as a Customer Service Representative primarily responsible for processing inbound and outbound customer order shipments and dealing with day to day customer queries. Prashan has a background in logistics management training at Softlogic PLC Sri Lanka (SL).  Prashan held several roles over an 8-year period as a Relationship Manager within the Banking and Finance sectors. Prashan also has experience in Business Development  within the Banking and Finance sectors.

Prashan holds a MSc degree in Management from the University of Worcester UK and a BA(HONS) in Business Management from University of Sunderland UK.
